TLT Reappointed to the National Legal Services Framework

National law firm TLT has been reappointed to the National Legal Services Framework (NLSF), providing legal advice to participating bodies across six targeted Lots. The appointments will run for four years, starting from 1 August 2025.

The NLSF is a national framework for legal services which is used by police forces and police and crime commissioners (PCCs) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as the Greater London Authority (GLA) and other public bodies such as the National Crime Agency (NCA) and British Transport Police (BTP).

TLT has secured positions on six Lots, including new appointments to Lot 3 (Inquests and Public Inquiries) and Lot 5 (Misconduct and Regulatory), alongside retained roles in:

  • Lot 1A (Procurement, Contract and Commercial and Governance: Complex Projects and Disputes)
  • Lot 1B (Procurement, Contract and Commercial and Governance: Business as Usual)
  • Lot 4 (Employment)
  • Lot 6 (Property – Residential, Commercial and PFI).

The expanded mandate highlights TLT’s expertise in providing a range of legal services to public sector bodies, whilst underscoring the firm’s commitment to innovation, social value, and client service excellence across blue light and law enforcement organisations.

Bill Hull, Partner and Head of Government & Public Services at TLT said: “It’s a real privilege to have the opportunity to continue to support UK Police Forces in their service delivery and helping them to navigate the trends & challenges currently shaping the sector.

“We have featured on this key panel since it started in 2009 – so it is great that our focus on blue light and law enforcement over so many years continues to be recognised. I’m also delighted that our expertise in public inquiries and public law has been acknowledged by our appointment for Inquiries and Police Misconduct work for the first time.”
